Perhaps I should have clarified my comments when I said it would be simple, but we typically do not socialize here.

The only time there's a great party like what we had for our marriage in Seijou is for the harvest festival in the fall.

[he blinks] I... I mean I guess that makes sense.

But still though, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have just... assumed.

[ squeezes his hand ]

It's fine, we're still learning each other, after all.

[he feels his cheeks heat up and a small smile forms on his face before he nods.] Mmm.

[a beat later] What is the harvest festival like?

[ a small smile crosses his face there ]

It's the only day of the year that we truly celebrate. We all gather in the cities and celebrate that the harvest is completed. There's music, and dancing, food, and contests.

That sounds pretty remarkable! Is there a certain day where it's the last day of harvest? Or is it just... after everything is harvested?

We have a set date, but it varies from year to year. I believe it's based on the lunar calendar, if I remember correctly.

Ohhh, yes! That makes sense!

I can't remember this year's date, but I can let you know after dinner.

Oh, yes that works! I hope I'll be able to help out in some way... But don't expect me to milk a cow.

Milking is a valuable skill to have here.

[he squirms a little] I have to deal with my own milk eventually. I don't... want to deal with someone else's milk.

That sounds more interesting! Besides, I don't think you'd like it if someone were to pump my own milk that wasn't myself.

[ squeezes his hand a bit tighter ]

You are different from a cow.

It's still the same concept though? My milk will feed my children, as does cow milk.

But we will not be eating you for dinner.

[ he says. as steak is served to them. ]

W- Well I most certainly hope you don't!!!!

[ huffs a small bit of laughter and raises their joined hands to press a small kiss to the back of oikawa's ]
