[oikawa let out an undignified huff as he tapped his foot impatiently on the ground. he was angry, and upset, for sure. but he also didn't like feeling as if he were being forced into doing something? and this was exactly what was happening. he was getting forced into an arranged marriage of sorts to some princely alpha.

of course, that's not to say that he wasn't a of royal lineage either. because he definitely was! but he wanted to love freely? he didn't want someone to dictate who it was he committed the rest of his life to. and here he is. being forced to do everything he loathed.

yes, it was for the sake of his country, and it was supposed to help end the two from going into anymore wars. but. he doesn't even know this person! he's only heard stories of him? and from what he has heard of he doesn't really like him. more importantly he doesn't want the other to view him as some weak omega. because he most certainly is not one of those weak push over omegas!

gritting his teeth, he took to tapping his finger on the arm rest instead. how long was this guy going to take?! surely if he was going to meet his so "betrothed" he would have gotten there early with time to spare! it's not like he doesn't have a country to rule over after all, he could be listening to claims and giving the people what they need.]

I'm almost done feeding them! [grabs another handful and tosses it.] Alright! I'm good to go if you are!

Okay! I'm sure I could convince the chefs in the kitchen to make you some hayashi rice. That's one of your favorite things to eat! [the other being oikawa's ass.]

It's pretty tasty. I've only had it once, but it was warm and very filling.

Well. It's not exactly a meal? But I'm very fond of milk bread.

[ he processes it for a second before he nods ] It suits you.

[he makes his way into the castle and skips into the kitchen. somehow, some way, he manages to charm the chef into making a small bowl of hayashi rice for ushiwaka and himself]

I guess... while we wait for the food to be ready, you can ask me questions?

What was our wedding like?

Oh! Well... we had two ceremonies. One here, and one at Seijou. We did the Seijou one first since you had to come there for it. It was... well, a pretty standard royal wedding party. It was extravagant and yet intimate? [he struggles to find the right words to describe it.]

I like to involve my people as much as I can? It makes them feel involved. So we stayed there meeting and greeting everyone who was able to attend the reception. Which was open to the public. I remember you had to drag me away because I was starting to sway from tiredness.

We... tried to get intimate, but.... I uhm. Still had lingering feelings for one of my royal guards and. It was... a mess, to be honest. We actually got into an argument before you and I left. I haven't spoken to him since I arrived here. [he bites his lip nervously] You've been so patient with me in that regard, so, I, um. I'd like to thank you for that? Not many would have the patients to deal with something like that. I... know I didn't have to tell you, I could have probably just skipped over telling you this. But it just didn't sit right with me to do something like that?

Our ceremony here was nice. It was actually the total opposite from what we had back at Seijou. It was more quaint and there were only a couple of people here who attended.

[ he's quiet for the most part, but his eyebrows furrow at the mention of oikawa's feelings for iwaizumi. before he can stop himself he reaches out and grabs oikawa's hand and holds it tight. ]

I... [ pauses and clears his throat as he reconsiders what he was going to say ]
