[oikawa let out an undignified huff as he tapped his foot impatiently on the ground. he was angry, and upset, for sure. but he also didn't like feeling as if he were being forced into doing something? and this was exactly what was happening. he was getting forced into an arranged marriage of sorts to some princely alpha.

of course, that's not to say that he wasn't a of royal lineage either. because he definitely was! but he wanted to love freely? he didn't want someone to dictate who it was he committed the rest of his life to. and here he is. being forced to do everything he loathed.

yes, it was for the sake of his country, and it was supposed to help end the two from going into anymore wars. but. he doesn't even know this person! he's only heard stories of him? and from what he has heard of he doesn't really like him. more importantly he doesn't want the other to view him as some weak omega. because he most certainly is not one of those weak push over omegas!

gritting his teeth, he took to tapping his finger on the arm rest instead. how long was this guy going to take?! surely if he was going to meet his so "betrothed" he would have gotten there early with time to spare! it's not like he doesn't have a country to rule over after all, he could be listening to claims and giving the people what they need.]

[ slowly working his way back to the cows!! today he just observed and didn't do anything with them ]

[he is going to eat more comfort foods for lunch. he vaguely wonders where his husband is, but he figures they must be showing him the ropes as far as kingly duties go. so it doesn't linger too long.]

[ cows go moo ]

[now that lunch is done, he's gonna go troll tendou for a little.

and by troll they're going to troll one another and tendou might take some kind of pity on oikawa and takes him in to town.

they talk a lot about ushiwaka's likes and dislikes.

well ok. its more tendou lists off his likes and dislikes, oikawa just listens as he looks at the different vendors sales]

[ cows need to poop ]

[and then he gets ambushed by a group of bright eyed girls who inSIST on giving him a flower crown. they had just made them too, so it seems.

and after careful consideration, he takes back home a lilac one for ushiwaka later.

now it's back to the castle for dinner.]

[ cows eat grass ]

[noogied]

[but do they eat hay???

oikawa blinks at the fact that ushiwaka isn't home yet though.

maybe?? somethings running late? or someone's droning on with their explanation?

either way he eats in silence and heads off to bed early



but which bedroom is he staying innnnn]

[ it was a long, hard day. without ushijima in commission, the cows have been more unruly. they love him, without a doubt, and that love for him makes his job easier. his assistant has been trying, and faring far better than anyone else would have, but he's still not ushiwaka.

after a quick dinner in the kitchens, he's quick to make his way to their room, hoping that oikawa is there. ]

[noogied]

[oikawa wanted so hard to sleep in the guest/tendou's spare room. but he got fed up with smelling citrus and honey, so he wandered back in to ushijima's-- their shared room with every intent to just steal the comforter.

but he didn't realize how tired he was and how soft ushiwaka's bed is. so he's totally passed out on like one of the small corners of their bed.

the flowercrown discarded on his dresser.]

[ more focused on oikawa than the flowercrown. he's pleased to see him there and just gratefully sinks into bed beside him ]

[noogied]

[makes a noise when he feels the bed dip. a couple of minutes later he unceremoniously rolls over closer to ushiwaka mumbling incoherent nonsense.

but still managing to ask how his day went]

[ quietly responds that it was tiring, but still informative before cuddling oikawa closer ]

[noogied]

[he lets out a soft hum as he snuggles even closer. yes good, pls let him leech off your warmth!!!

he also lets out a very soft, but still audible missed you before he presses his face in to the crook of ushiwaka's neck]

[lefties]

[ presses a light kiss to his forehead before falling into a deep sleep ]

[noogied]

[sleeps peaceful sleeps. he maaaay or may not be thwacking ushiwaka in his sleep, oh well!!

he at least wakes up well in to mid morning though, so that's probably better than the wake up call he had yesterday.]

[ yep, because ushiwaka is already out of bed and out in the fields, trying to work with the cows ]

[noogied]

[he blinks and looks around in confusion. where is his mans???]

[lefties]

[ cows go moo

and if you want an answer, there's a really loud mooing coming from the window ]

[oikawa gets up to go close the curtains that overlooks the cow pasture. it's too early for him to deal with cows right now. and with that he grabs one end of the curtain and starts to pull it until--]

[is that... he squints. is that ushiwaka??]

[noogied]

[ohHHH HELLLNAWWW

OIKAWA STORMS DOWN THE CASTLE READY TO BRING HELL TO HIS BIG STUPID ALPHA!!!]

[ ushiwaka is all decked out in his cow gear as he works with his assistant on the cows. like before the assistant is taking the lead, but ushiwaka is performing work, trying to get another feel for what he's doing again. the cows are slightly placated, but still agitated because what the fuck is wrong with you ushiwaka you're our pal WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS? ]
