[aomine never really realized that they'd finally get to this place in their respective basketball careers. but it's nice. it's nice being on the same playing field as everyone else rather than kind of being the one to lead the team to victory. not that he's knocking any of the players on his past teams, they just.... weren't ever going to get on his level. but this? this was nice.
aomine definitely had his sights set high for basketball, but he never imagined he'd be going pro across the sea in america. american basketball was just. well. it was on a completely different playing level than the pro teams in japan. but here he is, a cleveland cavaliers jersey tucked neatly away into his closet.
and he wasn't the only one who made it pro either. the rest of the gom and kagami somehow managed to pull it out of their asses too. they all arrived at different times throughout the month, and everyone had busy schedules before them too, so it was going to be hard to actually get the gang together for one big happy reunion. akashi tried to wrangle everyone together, but things kept getting in the way. the only ones who had decently synched times were aomine, kagami, and kise.
so, of course, aomine took it upon himself to try and initiate some kind of get together between the three of them. he missed the losers, and they were going to be in town for practice. well-- okay, kagami was, but it's not like it was out of the question for kise to afford a ticket to visit the two of them. so you know.]
Should I bother with take out? [probably since you didn't really bother with cleaning up your apartment.]
