[oikawa was having a tough week. he had bombed his last two tests, got into a terrible fight with his brother, and kept waking up extremely late. the fight was mostly the cause as to why he woke up late, because it interfered with his sleeping schedule and kept him up most nights. unlike the rest of his family, who was content with spending the rest of their lives in their wolf forms, he wanted to stay with the humans.

he liked the life he had in the human world. he didn't have to constantly worry about someone wanting to hunt him or throw him into captivity. but anyway-- that's neither here nor there. oikawa shook his head lightly as he made his way up the stairs that led to the school he attended. the only unfortunate downside about his lack of sleep was that he tended to be... well, a bit short tempered and a little more animalistic than he wanted to be.]

[ iwaizumi was new to the school, having moved to the city just last week. it's his first day and he's nervous enough as it is. but as he's waiting for the day to start, there's a smell... that catches his attention ]

Smells... like dog?

[oikawa falters a little. oh no..... in his rush to not be late today he kind of skipped showering. he made sure to spritz himself liberally with cologne, but maybe it wasn't enough? unsure what to say to the other he just... offers an unsure smile and shrugs his arms.] We-- uh, have a dog that comes around to the dorms?

[noogies]

Really? What kind?

[noogied]

A-- uh??? Shibe???

[noogies]

... A shibe?

[noogied]

Yes, a shibe? You know.... the ones with the curly tails? [he swoops his finger around.]

You mean a shiba?

[noogied]

That's what I said, wasn't it?

So, what's the dog's name?

U- uhm!!! Sh- Shizuki. [though it sounds more like a question than a statement.]

Can I meet Shizuka?

[noogied]

You might get to meet him later! He likes to roam, and besides we have class?

Oh, but I thought the dog's name was Shizuki, not Shizuka.

[noogied]

[?????????????? eternal screaming.] What?

I just called the dog Shizuka, but you didn't correct me.

I guess I didn't realize. It's name isn't really important anyway. It doesn't like me, nor do I like it.

A shame, I really like dogs.
