my church offers no absolution.

[sousuke wasn't exactly the religious type. in fact it was kind of hard when he "laid in bed with another man." but he still went out of obligation to his family. on one hand it was kind of cleansing, but on the other he felt awkwardly out of place. especially when the priest would go off about unholy things in his sermon.

once mass was over he would always end up in a weird head space. he usually wandered around shady places and went in to and out of different seedy bars late at night in the red district. because of how he looked and his build he wasn't carded much at all to get in. though of course bartenders were on a whole different playing level. so he rarely got to order anything alcoholic in the bars he did go into. but at least he was in an area that got to take his mind off of things.

he sipped from his glass of water solemnly as he focused on those around him. the group to his left were celebrating a promotion, and the one to his right was celebrating someone finally coming to age.]

[ and suddenly, at his side, is someone who is holding a drink that looks to be pink and fruity. he's smiling a careful smile, not wanting to scare away sousuke. ]

And what's someone like you doing all alone right now?

[overexerted]

[he had been so lost in his thoughts he doesn't even see the other approach him. and when he speaks up he doesn't quiet catch it. he blinks, taken aback and looks up.] I-- what?

I asked why you're alone, if that's alright?

[overexerted]

Well I-- uhm, I don't know? I always wander around by myself sunday night.

Would you like some company tonight?

[overexerted]

[he chokes a bit on his water.]

What?

[freewilly]

I was asking if I could join you tonight.

[overexerted]

[he shrugs.] You're free to do whatever you want.

[freewilly]

Whatever I want, you say?

[ does that include whoever? but no

he's going to take a seat then ]

That's what I said, wasn't it? [he takes another sip out of his water]

Oh just making sure.

[overexerted]

It's not like it matters, you're free to sit wherever you want. You don't need my approval if you wanted to sit next to me.

Oh, but there are things I do need your approval for when it comes to you.

[overexerted]

[he pauses and quirks a brow.] What?

[freewilly]

[ smiles, tilting his head slightly ] Oh? Are you interested in what those might be?

[overexerted]

Well you're being very vague, but you know-- if you don't want to share then that's fine.

[freewilly]

I don't mind sharing if you don't mind learning about them.

[ and with that he scoots closer and lets his foot slightly run up sousuke's leg ]

[overexerted]

Well... what are you waiting for then?

[oh... is... is that his foot against his leg? oh....]

[freewilly]

Do you want to go home alone tonight?

[overexerted]

[his brows quirk.] Are you... propositioning me?

[freewilly]

I am.

[overexerted]

I don't even-- [he cuts himself off with a sigh as he shakes his head. well. at least he's hot??? and he needs to feel better about himself again, so. what the hell, why not.] Fine.

[freewilly]

[ he lets out a grin, dropping a hand under the table to run it up Sousuke's thigh, stopping before it gets too high ]

Would you like to finish our drinks, or would you rather head out now?

[overexerted]

Well all I have is just a water, so it doesn't really matter to me. [he shrugs.]

[ giving his leg a slight squeeze ]
